Marc Jackson

Los Angeles-based composer and songwriter Marc Jackson wraps listeners in a sonic landscape, turning life’s moments into musical stories that you can feel on deep levels. With a strong background in many musical styles, he shape-shifts as an artist able to achieve the best mood for any motif. His work is meticulous and celebrates both the dark and light spaces present in the human experience.

He has crafted scores and soundtracks for feature films and written songs for networks including ABC, NBC, CBS, HBO, Showtime, FX and The Disney Channel. His clients include Warner Bros., Paramount, DreamWorks, Lionsgate, Disney, Netflix, and Focus Features naming only a few.

Marc was commissioned to remix “Sleepwalking” (feat. Emi Green) for the artist Davidge (Neil Davidge, producer Massive Attack, Portishead and Tricky). Other remixes which feature orchestral embellishments include the original score to the film “Drive” by Cliff Martinez and “John Wick” by Tyler Bates and Joel J Richard.

He co-wrote the song “Naughty Would Be Nice for Christmas” with Scott Patton, which was performed live by Jennifer Nettles on the 2012 CMA Country Christmas Special.

Marc founded and owns MoonLab Music, a custom music production company and music publishing entity.
