Biography

Marc Jackson creates music for film, television, main titles, network ID’s, theatrical trailers, advertising, and new media. His music and sound design have been use for trailers such as The Adjustment Bureau, Hall Pass, My Soul to Take, Devil, Beowulf, Enchanted, and more.

Marc has scored and written songs for television networks such as ABC, NBC/Universal, HBO, Disney Channel, E!, HGTV, Lifetime, A&E, and SyFy. He has also written and performed a number of television theme songs, such as “Check This Kid Out” for Disney and “Come Out” for Logo/MTV’s “U.S. of Ant.”

He is currently scoring his third feature film. Marc also owns MoonLab Music, a production music library servicing all media. Prior to founding MoonLab, he served as Director of Music and Staff Composer for Zoo Street Music at New Wave Entertainment, where he was also the executive producer on Dane Cook’s “Tourgasm” soundtrack released for Playtone on Rhino Records. He also music supervised for television series for HBO, E! Television, SYFY, Lifetime, and A&E as well as for major movie marketing campaigns for all the major studios.

As both a composer and songwriter, his unique skill set allows him to be comfortable writing in every genre for film and TV. He can also provide original lyric-driven songs in all styles.
